The Circuit Scribe makes creating circuits as easy as doodling on your notes

The world of technology is a fascinating and magical place. However, if you don’t know much about it things can be very overwhelming to learn on your own. Not everyone has their brain wired the same way, and pouring over books may not teach someone as well as hands-on activities would. When it comes to making circuitry, it can be messy, smelly, and time-consuming.
If you want to teach others or yourself how to do circuit building without having to use a breadboard, then you’re going to love Circuit Scribe. This is a pen with conductive silver ink that lets you draw exactly what you want where you want, without any need for wires whatsoever. This can be used with Arduino, Makey Makey, and other electronic platforms for any projects your noggin can come up with.
To make things as easy as possible, they made components that have magnetic backing so you can keep them in place on a whiteboard or refrigerator. Getting a basic kit will give you LEDs, capacitors, an NPN transistor, and a conductive ink pen. This will only cost you $45, or you could get the option that also gives you a workbook for an extra $15. This is a great way to teach those with little knowledge of circuitry how things work with minimal mess and leaving very little room for confusion. If this is solely to teach yourself, you’ll be able to create all manner of gizmos before you know it.

HTC Desire Eye Announced

At one point in time, it seemed as though HTC could do no wrong as a smartphone company, and they were riding high on the Android mobile operating system from Google. However, the company started to see a reversal in its fortunes over the passage of time, but thankfully, they managed to find their mojo back with the HTC One, and subsequently, continued their journey of recovery somewhat with the HTC One M8. Having said that, here they are with one of their latest smartphones, which they have dubbed as the HTC Desire EYE.
This will be the new high end model under the HTC Desire range, and the HTC Desire EYE is so called that simply because the Taiwanese company claims that it comes with one of the best front-facing cameras that are available on the market today, not to mention accompanied by software that ensures you look your stunning best when capturing selifes.
Just how sharp is the front facing camera? Well, we are looking at a market-leading 13MP shooter, and there will be an equivalent camera like it at the back, too, ensuring that you will be able to zoom in, crop and print without having to compromise in any way. There will be BSI sensors underneath the hood that enables it to capture crisp photos, even when one is in low-light conditions, while the intelligent dual-LED flash located on both cameras will offer flattering, natural tones as ambient light levels drop even further.
A trio of dedicated microphones will ensure that the HTC Desire EYE is capable of bringing audio quality to even greater heights, resulting in crystal clear voice and video calling. Hardware specifications include HTC BoomSound, a 5.2″ Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and 4G LTE connectivity, all crammed into a unibody chassis that is waterproof – showing the world that it does keep up with the times in terms of design. Any takers?

HTC RE Camera Announced

HTC never really had all that much luck when it comes to devices that are different apart from smartphones. I still remember even back in their heydays when HTC could do no wrong – they attempted to break into the tablet market with the HTC Flyer, but somehow failed to make the most out of it, so much so that there never really was another HTC-branded flyer that arrived after that. This time around, the Taiwanese company looks as though they intend to try something totally new, and that would be the all new HTC Re camera.
Basically, the HTC Re camera intends to change the way that people think about imaging – and HTC wants to take the user out from behind the viewfinder, and to place you, the user, back where you belong, which would be right smack at the heart of all the action that is going on.
The HTC Re camera would be the latest photography innovation fro HTC that intends to re-imagine the point-and-shoot category. Being a tiny handheld camera, the periscope-like HTC Re would enable one to naturally capture and fully experience the moment, all of it done via video and photography, without allowing anything to get in your way. One might think of the GoPro camera to be worth a shot in this category, but that is more for the action oriented person.
With the HTC Re, it comes in a stunning and unique cylindrical design that was specially made to fit comfortably in your hand. Apart from that, there is also an integrated grip sensor which will instantly activate the camera when it is picked up, doing away with the need for a power button. In addition, there is a single shutter button that requires all of but one tap so that it can capture photos, while a longer press paves the way for video recording in order for you not to miss a single moment.
It sports a high-resolution, 16MP CMOS sensor, full HD (1080p) video recording, 146 degree wide-angle lens and slow-motion and time-lapse recording, letting you capture moments unlike how you ever did in the past. There will be the ability to deliver real-time video streaming to YouTube in the future, and the Re app will be made available on both Android and iOS.

Pix Star Delivers FotoConnect XD Wi-Fi enabled digital picture frame

I would like to say that digital photo frames happen to be a niche product that has not really caught on, making it a niche product just like that of a pico projector. However, this does not mean that it is a dead market, as the likes of Pix-Star who has been in the game for some time already is back with the FotoConnect XD Wi-Fi enabled digital picture frame. This spanking new 15 inch device will be a whole lot more than just a normal frame, as it will arrive with a slew of useful and unique features which will make it a “life companion”. In fact, those who are interested can already place an order for it on Amazon.
There is nothing quite like ensuring your memories end up being captured in a photo – digital or otherwise, as it does its bit to help in making sure that we will still be able to remember a connection to our past. After all, forgetting one’s history can be a very difficult thing since doing so might see us repeat the same mistakes in the future. The latest FotoConnect XD Wi-Fi enabled digital picture frame happens to be developed to target the senior and elderly, and yet it will still sport even more bells and whistles compared to the previous Pix-Star generation – while making sure that it remains user friendly to boot.
The moment the initial configuration is completed, you can sit back and let the FotoConnect XD Wi-Fi enabled digital picture frame virtually run in autopilot mode as it will receive photo mails while playinh slideshows on its own. Not only does Pix-Star frames receive photos, it is also full well capable of sending them out, too.
The FotoConnect XD will feature a 4:3 display ratio that makes it ideal for most digital camera formats, and the frame will seamlessly integrate itself with over 20 online services, including the likes of Dropbox, Facebook, Google +, FlickR, and Instagram among others. Just a few minutes are required to set up this frame, and a Wi-Fi connection will enable it to access the Internet while having its own email address, which means there is no need for a computer to function as a “middleman” when sending and receiving photo mails.
Not only that, the FotoConnect XD will also be able to let one configure alarms as reminders for birthdays, anniversaries, and even a doctor’s appointment.

AMAZON KINDLE FIRE HDX 7

Leaner, meaner and more powerful than its predecessor, Amazon has stepped its game up with the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 as it looks to keep pace with the new Nexus 7.
On paper Amazon's latest 7-inch tablet is more than up to the job with a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, full HD display, up to 64GB of storage and prices starting at £200.

Quick verdict

For the customisation you give up, you gain simplicity and ease of use on the Kindle Fire HDX 7. We'd like to call this the sort of tablet you give to someone who is less than tech savvy, but those devices don't usually have such good hardware.
If you're a Prime subscriber, or heavily invested in Amazon's ecosystem, the Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a smart purchase. For those who want a little more functionality reach for a Nexus 7, or if you have deeper pockets check out the iPad mini 2.

                LG G Pad 8.3

Well, when you make an Android tablet with a design language like this one, perhaps it's time to quietly worry at Samsung. In place of plastic, it's got a lovely aluminium shell, and connectivity with other Android phones makes it a viable option for a wider range of users.
Some might question whether the Snapdragon 600 chip is too low-power for a tablet that costs around £200, but it allows for a sleeker design according to the Korean brand.

    Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2

Never one to leave a tablet niche unexplored, Samsung pushed screen sizes up to new heights with the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2.
Thankfully that's not all it has going for it, as the Note Pro 12.2's 3GB of RAM and quad-core processor give it superior performance, while the S Pen becomes truly useful in combination with the slates large, bright screen.

It's an obvious choice for digital artists or anyone else who wants a device they can be productive on, but the bigger screen makes it great just for web browsing and watching videos too.
On the flip side the increased size makes it a little unwieldy and the build quality is a touch creaky thanks to the larger chassis, but is offset by the sheer expanse of screen to play with.
